Professional development is the gateway for many educators to increase their knowledge about how to meet the needs of their students.  Students that benefit from Title I, Part D funding are in need of a wide variety of supports.  The Office of ESEA Programs at the Virginia Department of Education is sponsoring a Title I, Part D Mini-Conference on March 26, 2020 in Richmond, VA to address the needs of students who benefit from Title I, Part D funding.  Participants will have an opportunity to network with educators from delinquent facilities and at-risk programs across the state and to learn more about trauma-informed care, positive behavior intervention and supports, and coding.  Participants traveling more than 30 miles will receive lodging the night before the conference and a continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
