100499 - WestEd: Academic Support for Long Term English Learners

Overview

This one-day training will explore research-based instructional frameworks and strategies designed to support long term English Learners in attaining English proficiency and achieving at high levels in academic subjects. This will be the third year of training provided to division leaders to help provide effective support to the LTEL subgroup.  

Attendees should include: Content teachers, EL teachers, EL coaches, EL specialists.

This is a virtual session. All participants will require a laptop and a Zoom account. For those who already have Zoom installed, please make sure to update to the latest version - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.

All necessary literature, materials and instructions to access the virtual session (links) will be sent to attendees one week prior to the training.
