Overview

This program visits many of the most popular cities in Europe, as well as a few of Professor Matheson's favorite places from his many years of study abroad experience all over the world. Alumni will see historic cities and cultural icons, visit businesses, and fully immerse themselves in European life. This 29-day journey offers you a unique and rewarding experience (May 18 - -June 17, 2026).

THE ALUMNI TRIP IS OFFERED IN TWO PARTS, ROME TO VIENNA AND MUNICH TO AMSTERDAM. SEE THE SCHEDULE TO HELP CHOOSE YOUR SEGMENT.

  • Compare business practices and approaches among the countries visited and the United States.
  • Explain the cultural differences between European countries and the United States
  • Explain differences in pricing and products between Europe and home.
  • Discuss the importance of cultural/heritage sites in each country visited.
  • Discuss the immersion into different cultures and interaction with multiple nationalities as it impacts your experience and the role of an American student in a global stage.
Alumni will visit Rome, Siena, Florence, Venice, Bologna, Italy; Vienna and Salzburg, Austria; Munich, Nuremberg, and Berlin, Germany; Prague, Czech Republic; and Amsterdam, Netherlands.
