100744 - VAST Semiconductor Chip Fabrication and Nano Characterization Certificate Program
Overview
The Virginia Alliance for Semiconductor Technology is excited to partner with you in your career path in the semiconductor industry. This certificate program comprised of 40 hours of asynchronous online lectures and up to 60 hours of hands-on, in-person lab training. The 10 modules included in this training are:
- Semiconductor fabrication cleanroom orientation and safety
- Metrology
- Lithography
- Thin film deposition
- Etching techniques
- High-temperature processing
- Wafer bonding
- Integrated processes
- Advanced characterization techniques
- Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting
If the complete course is not an option, this semester you may opt to attend the lectures only and schedule labs during another semester. The lectures will provide a comprehensive overview of the principles and processes used in the semiconductor industry.
