Description

This course focuses on the math associated with small systems, ranging in classification from Class VI to IV. It is designed to complement our short course, Basic Groundwater Course for Small Systems, which has been offered and popular for several years. Among the topics addressed in this second groundwater course over a 3-day period are basic math, treatment systems, disinfection, water source, administrative math, hydraulics, and chemical feeders.

Learner Outcomes

Participants will be given homework assignments at the end of the first and second days; time is allotted on the following days to review the assignments. The course ends with a review period, an evaluation of the course, and a quiz. Participants will receive a manual that was expressly developed for this course.
