100357 - ESEA Application Workshop
Overview
The Virginia Department of Education is pleased to offer a one-day technical assistance application workshop to assist federal program coordinators in completing the individual or consolidated program application for the programs below:
- Title I, Part A: Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged
- Title II, Part A: Supporting Effective Instruction
- Title III, Part A: Language Instruction for English Learners and Immigrant Students
- Title IV, Part A: Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grants
The workshop will include breakout presentations for each program area as well as flexible sessions during which coordinators may work one-on-one with a program specialist. Sessions will be repeated for coordinators who are responsible for multiple programs. The workshop will be held in two regional locations.
Registration Deadline:
Registration with lodging request is available until Thursday, March 16, 2023.
Registration with no lodging request is available until Friday, April 7, 2023.
COVID-19 Information for In-Person Programs:
This program will be offered in-person. Virginia Tech continues to be vigilant in adhering to a range of public health and university guidelines to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
It is strongly encouraged for both vaccinate and unvaccinated attendees to use prevention strategies, such as wearing masks, physical distancing, hand hygiene, and respiratory etiquette.
You must not attend if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or believe you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to this program.
