Overview

PLEASE NOTE: This training is only open to 21st CCLC grantees.

In this training participants will learn to develop their teaching content to students and the importance of setting the appropriate learning goals and objective. Participants will also learn to self-assess their knowledge of the material and skills needed for effective teaching and practical steps to take for researching, learning and testing appropriate technology tools either individually or with a colleague(s). The sessions will also assist educators with employing best practices for teaching learners’ emotional intelligence skills through empathy in product design and through restorative teaching practices.

Registration is limited to 35 participants per training session. Participants must be able to participate in all 5 sessions from 8:30 am - 11:30 am each day :
Training Session 1: June 14, 15, 21, 22, 23
Training Session 2: July 7, 8, 14,1 5, 16

This will be a virtual training. All necessary literature, materials and instructions to access the virtual session (links) will be sent to attendees one week prior to the training.
