November 15 (Richmond) or November 17 (Roanoke)

The goal of this training will be to empower educators with ways to improve reading and writing through innovative teaching and learning methods in their classroom whilst focusing on equitable academic language literacy strategies for our EL students with varying abilities.  The workshop will focus on all aspects of learner success - reading, writing, listening, and speaking - for increased academic language literacy for all students.

Attendees should include: K-12 General Education Teachers, EL teachers, EL coaches, EL specialists, Content Teachers
