Target Audience
This activity is designed for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and other health care professionals who deliver primary, urgent, emergency and developmental care to children and adolescents.

Course Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Identify evidence-based approaches to cystic fibrosis and asthma, Kawasaki disease, COVID immunization and muscular dystrophies
  2. Integrate research advances and clinical innovations with the delivery of pediatric pulmonary care, cardiology, primary care, adolescent, and emergency room care.
  3. Apply the discussions on controversies that surround immunization for COVID, Kawasaki syndrome, asthma, and muscular dystrophy.
  4. Incorporate into practice new treatment modalities in cystic fibrosis, Kawasaki syndrome, asthma, and muscular dystrophy.

Lodging: Lodging rooms are available for the nights of July 14, 15, and 16 at the rate of $349.00 per room per night for city view and $369.00 per room per night for ocean view.  All guestroom rates are subject to state and local taxes.  For triple and quadruple occupancy there is a $20.00 additional charge per adult per room per night, with maximum occupancy of 4 persons per room.  Individuals are responsible for making their own lodging reservations and payment of all lodging expenses. Reservations can be made by call 757-213-3000 and identifying themselves as a member of the Pediatrics at the Beach Conference.  All reservations must be made by June 14, 2022 to receive the group rate.
