Overview

Note: Registration by invitation only.

The field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has solved several grand challenge problems in recent years, ranging from facial recognition to language translation to autonomously driving vehicles from roads to laboratories. These staggering breakthroughs have resulted from very large sets of labeled data, very large clusters of GPU processors, novel computer architectures, and increasingly complex neural network models. This workshop aims to bring together leading AI researchers from Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and its core universities -- Duke University, Florida State University, Georgia Tech, North Carolina State University, University of Tennessee, Vanderbilt University, University of Virginia, and Virginia Tech. These researchers will present their new research and develop collaborations to advance the field of AI significantly and accelerate scientific discoveries.
