One day course: Before you file Form 1120, Form 1120S or Form 1065 for 2018, you must be aware of the rules and reporting requirements, or your clients may lose tax benefits or face penalties. Complications with the QBI (Section 199A) deduction reporting affect all business entities, even for taxpayers with less than $157,500 of taxable income. In late 2018 and early 2019 important tax developments have affected rules that we thought we understood in the fall of 2018. This program will show you how to avoid some of these new traps.

Two day course: This two-day course is up to date with all significant legislative, administrative and judicial developments up to the date of presentation. It includes S corporation eligibility and election requirements, basis and other loss limits, taxable and net investment income, distributions compensation, corporate level taxes, and terminations and sales of the business. It also includes state-specific rules regarding entities and taxes.
