Overview

This virtual training program is designed to equip medical professionals, licensed and license-eligible clinicians with a deeper understanding of the epidemiology of regular marijuana use, cannabis use disorders, and their associations with suicidal behaviors among transitional age youth. Within today’s society, these issues have become increasingly prevalent and demand a nuanced understanding, assessment, and intervention approach. Guided by established theories and scientific evidence, participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate this complex landscape and enhance their ability to support and treat young individuals effectively.

This training will be virtual via Zoom. You will receive an email Know Before You Go no later than Tuesday, November 14, 2023 with your login instructions. If you do not receive this email please reach out to Elaine Densley at edensle@vt.edu.
